Homemade Lasagna!

My Homemade Lasagna

1/2 lb beef

1/2 lb pork sausage

32 oz cottage cheese

5 oz grated Parmesan

4 cups mozzarella cheese

2 beaten eggs

2 tablespoons dried parsley

2 tablespoons dry Italian seasoning

One box lasagna noodles

One red onion

2 tablespoons minced garlic

14.5 oz can Italian stewed tomatoes

2-6oz cans tomato paste

Salt and pepper
Cook noodles and drain. Cook beef, sausage, onion and garlic til brown. Drain if needed. (I didn’t) Add tomato paste and tomatoes undrained. Add Italian seasoning and simmer for 10 minutes.

In large bowl add cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese. Add two beaten eggs and the dry parsley. Add salt and pepper.
9×13 pan. 375 degree oven. Make layers. Start with sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, sauce, mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers and end with mozzarella. Cover with foil and cook 45 mins – 1 hour. Let stand for 10 mins before serving. Serves 6-8 people.
