My Homemade Brownies & Frosting!

So I like to make my brownies in a round glass pan because my kids and hubby just LOVE the crusty outside and this was, it gives them more. However, you can make these brownies in any shape pan. an 8×8 is the typical pan. Feel free to double the recipe and make a 9×13 if you want!

Brownies

1/2 cup butter melted

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup cocoa

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking powder

In large saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat (let cool a bit) and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Then beat in cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder.
Cook on 350 for 15-20 minutes. Don’t over cook!

Frosting

3 tablespoons softened butter

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 tablespoon honey

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup powdered sugar

Combine all and stir til smooth. Add water drops of needed. Let brownies cool a bit. Add frosting to warm brownies and let cool completely.
