Chocolate Gravy

2 large (heaping) tbs of cocoa

1 cup sugar

3 tbs flour

2 cups milk, plus more if you want thinner gravy

1 tsp vanilla

3 tbs butter

Mix the dry ingredients with a whisk in a pot. Then add the wet ingredients. Stir well and bring to a slight boil on medium heat until you reach the thickness you want. Stir constantly so it doesn’t stick. Add more milk if it gets too thick. Serve over warm biscuits.

    Want to take to a Easter breakfast. It will be approximately 1hour before served. How should I keep it warm. I have a smaller crock pot. Would that work, or Will gravy get weird. Thanks


    1. It thickens as it cooks so I’m unsure how it would be but if I was to try it, I would go with a small crock pot and add extra milk if it starts to thicken. Stir it a lot though so the sides don’t scorch. Good luck! Happy Easter!
